Default Help me choose between these wheels

1.

18x8.5 & 18x9.5

2.

18x8.5 all around

3.

19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear wheels
235-35-19 front and 265-30-19 rear tires .

I really wanted to stay with 18s to keep the same performance, but there is a good deal on these wheels & tires. Do you guys feel I will notice a change in performance? Comment from the seller when I asked if he lost performance do to getting bigger wheels.

"Truth is , performance didnt change at all !!!!! but the ride is just a bit harder, wich I love cause give's it a more sport feeling... other than that it was the same !"

He is selling so I can't go off his word, so I'm checking to see if others feel the same going from 18s to 19s.

This is how the last set looks on a silver IS.

All of them have those rivets/bolts, and I'm not gonna encourage any of that...

What's with that anyway? It's bad enough I see nearly 0 folks putting a nice 5-spoke wheel on their 2IS, then the few I do almost all of those have those goofy fake rivet/bolt things on em.

yeah man. You should add a "none of the above" to the poll. All those wheels look heavy as hell & not too attractive in my opinion. Your car will be slower. Also, Stern is a garbage brand. I'd rather have stock 18's than any of those wheels. My 2 cents

Ok...thanks for the input. I will stay stock then. I put enough money into aftermarket wheels on my Vette and track wheels for it. I didn't wanna go over 1k for wheels on my IS.

i say if 1k's all u want to spend then paint ur OEM wheels black

cheapest option by far and ull have alot of loot left over
you get the aggressive look that ur after plus u wont lose anything performance wise.

Great idea...it is something I was thinking of originally. Let me get a pic photoshopped to see what it would look like.
