WTF!! guys that looks like crap!!

 

i recently talked to the parts manager at lexus of westminster and he said that they won't be making separate gfx kits for you to put on your car because our model year will be the only year and they will be changing the design of the car since it's at the 4 year cycle....so it will have to be aftermarket for us '09ers

 

Say what? A four year cycle for the IS? They just facelifted it and it will be around for at least two more model years. Either I misread the above post or the parts guy is on crack.

 

beats me, maybe he meant 4 years until a major facelift? he seemed kind of off, he couldn't tell me if you could use the oem ipod kit while driving soo...

 

i don't think IS has a 4 year model cycle.... it's too short isn't it??? and btw... the 09 X-pack don't get different wheels?

 

I like the rear a lot! I think it has a lil' more flare!

I don't like much the changes but well....I guess even Lexus screws over sometimes. Tail lights are fugly! Front lip....naaaa....well my own opinion though

 

I finally saw the rear lights at night last night. Thumbs down. The new LED's form a unimaginative rectangular shape. Reminds me of the first Infiniti G35. Bleh The subtle, thin straight line of the '08's look more stealthy and evil. On the plus side, at least they are all LED's and not mixed.

 

dont like the new tail lights or rear lip kit... the front looks ok..

 

So does this mean you can get White with Sport/X-pkgs in the Middle East along with the lobster claw wheels (versus our 3 colors and the thicker 5 spokes)? Hmmm... Cuz I really like that color combo/wheel + sport package.
