2006 IS350 RWD

looking to get Volk TE37 19x9.5+22, 19x10.5+22 . Car is on megan EZ coils with front and rear spc camber kit. Will i have to do any fender mods ? Also any suggestion on the tire size. Will I need spacers ? I'm not looking to tuck but just want to go flush.

I was advised to post in this thread.

thanks in advance

It all depends on how low you want to go.
If you want to ride low, one finger or less gap:
Megan EZ's flex a bit more and will rub on dips in the road. You will need to roll your fenders with a slight pull in the front as well as relocation of your fender tab. You will most likely still rub while driving. You will need to run some negative camber in the rear to help with clearance and run a stretched tire in the size 245/35/19. The front is going to stick out with a camber kit on it, run a 225/35/19. It will rub.
If you dont want to go too low:
You will still rub on hard dips in the road due to the flexible Megan EZ springs. I would still run stretched tires like above and would still roll all fenders.

No spacers needed.

More experienced CLers will chime in if they think otherwise.

im trying to avoid modifying my fenders. id rather change the wheel offset than modify my fenders. Since the specs i posted wont work, what kind of te37's could i get that will not rub . as stated i dont want my wheels sitting sunk in. I will drop it down to 1 finger gap.

thank you for your input

I had 19x10.5" +22 LE37 in the rear on Megan EZs and bottomed out ---- BAD! The spring rates are way too soft on the EZs. I hit a huge bump in a construction zone and the pic below speaks for itself....rim crashed into my properly rolled/pulled fender causing major damage to the fender.

I have would go with a much higher spring rate coil such as 14/12 if you wanna roll stanced and looowww.

Sitting flush and rolling your fenders go hand-n-hand. Otherwise, it wont be flush if you dont want to roll your fenders. You will end up having to do a higher offset and it wont be flush, maybe around a +30 and up depending on the wheel width.

Seems like a visit to the bodyshop is due. I still need to know what kind of offset I will need to sit flush. I might bump up to the Megan lp for some stiffer spring rates.

Thank you.

Well, I think this set up is super nice. It is just about right in terms of flushness. 19X9.5 +30 with 255/35/19 = Rear Fender Rolled?

thanks, rear fender not rolled. no rubbing issues, however i havent had anyone ride in my back seat either. my fronts are rubbing when i have a passenger, so seems like i will still have to roll fenders to avoid rubbing at this height. also my coils are megans and settings are set to soft

Anyone know the center cap size for 19" te37's? I need the outer diameter and the inner diameter in mm. Thanks.

I like it! Now put some 5mm spacers on the front and drop it.
