Some intense moments yesterday in Porter Ranch
Early Tuesday morning, the fire came down the canyon (right of fence) and we had to evacuate. Fortunately no houses burned and life is slowly returning to normal. Just waiting for the smoke stench to dissipate.
And Lexi did just fine, even with embers blowing up against rear tire.

I'm glad everything turn out OK. I'm remember last year about this season everywhere is burning. One of those day I can't even get home from because the 15 and 215 are closed for the whole night. I end up sleeping in my car and the next morning my car is cover with ashes.

We too had to evacuate (we live in Porter Ranch). But they let us back this morning and the house is just fine. With the flames coming to us from just two blocks away before we left, I haven’t had much sleep in the past few days.
All the fire fighters, especially the helicopter pilots are the true heroes around here.

Thank you for posting the picture and my heart goes out to you all. Seems like wildfires are a yearly occurance in Cali. Their is no excuse for those who commit arson in those instances.
