ok let me chime on the 'higher the K the less lite it puts out' bs... 8k hids will put out MORE LITE than the halogens, just less than the 4300k bulbs... so when ppl say, it puts out less lite, less lite than what? is what you need to ask them...

I myself run 6k hid bulbs and they put out PLENTY of lite. As for HID fogs, i wont do it cuz while it may look fantastic for you behind the wheel, it kinda sux for everyone else outside the car, my car is illegal enough already and i dont need the xtra attention hid fogs would give.

 

8k low beam, 8k fogs, 1sexy outcome.

I love it, such a difference when i drive at night, for the hell of it i turn my fogs off sometimes for a few seconds, this way i can actually see how much of an impact 8k fogs make, even the trees lightup all bright lol.

 

I might just stick with
6000K HID low beam
and
3000K for fogs
to not get too much attention..

I think my car already gets some attention..

 

go with 8k HIDs for both, kenny!! and some matching parking light. you won't regret it

Have had this combo with my previous car and it looks gorgeous.. as far as light output I don't see any concern I think it lights up pretty well on the road

I just ask the shop to get it for me and install. Except the parking light. I got the PIAA xterme white bulb by myself bcause the shop doesn't stock it and they said I can get it on ebay easily.

Sure thing, maybe we can set up a mini meet with Kenny and Thien too. I also haven't heard kenny's wald exhaust at EOS..he was too busy with his gf I didn't dare to interrupt him

the shop is SonicMS at mountain view. I'm also planning to get my springs from them.
