it's hard to understand what u're talking about? are you refering to the headlight it self or the cover inside the engine bay that covers the bulbs? i just recently changed out my city lights and now i have moisture inside my headlight.

In the Texas sun and heat, your evolving headlight problem will only become worse and will subsequently need to be replaced under bumper to bumper. I would wait a bit before a dealer trip to ensure the damage is visible in any lighting.
So you mean it's normal that sun heat will melt the headlight? Since I see the same symptoms in both headlights, so I think I am not the unique lucky one.
This is surprising for me since from my understanding, I assume, Lexus quality should easily handle sun heat. Compared with Arizona, Texas sun heat is not a big deal Sunlight may cloud it after a couple of years, but should not melt it, in just 2 months, right?
Not truly normal and really, unacceptable per Lexus standard. Often times car companies design cars to match up to regional elements. I.E., Paint is different in the southwest on many vehicles to combat the suns wear. Your headlight issue should be addressed when their is a very noticeable case.
erm.. i think you're just being paranoid.. that looks like its on the inside of the lens. =] probably a smug or when they were molding the plastic it rippled a little bit. although the light bulbs in your head lights get hot. the energy produced isnt enough to carry that heat that great of a distance and still have enough to melt the lens. Plus, your shrouds, wires, chrome housing... etc.. would start melting, warping, deforming... way before your lens are affect since they're closer to the heat source.
have you tried some Meguiar's Scratch X? I know the car is pretty new but you can always wet sand the light and use some rubbing compound and then some scratch x
