something fall off from my car! help

Default something fall off from my car! help

today i noticed that my car said "check the AC"...and i didn't know what happen, so i go look under the hood and found out something is fell off.
do you guys know what is it?



please help, do i still able to drive to the dealer and have them fix it?

Whether you can drive it or not, if it has something to do with your AC system then you're ok to drive it, but if you're really scared to then call and have it towed by Lexus, its free.

Thats the A/C compressor clutch.. it has a small 10mm bolt that holds it on. If its under warranty, take it to the dealer and they should take care of it. The car is driveable, that will not affect anything but the A/C

Yeup, definitely the A/C compressor clutch. Weird..I've never seen one just snap off like that from factory..the clearance probably just wasn't set right from the start. You'll live. just without A/C. check your serpentine belt too, make sure it didn't get any tears in it for when that clutch flew off.
