From Edmund's information on the 2008:
XF X Package

18" 5-spoke Liquid Graphite finish alloy wheels with 225/40YR18 front summer tires and 255/40YR18 rear summer tires, front lip spoiler,
sport tuned suspension,
alloy brake, accelerator and footrest pedals (including clutch pedal) and

So the X-package loses the lip spoiler for 2009 and uses a different "aerodynamic air dam"? I'm not clear what the X-package has up there different than a non-X-package car?

These cars were manufactured back in June 08. They are pre-production 09 IS250/350's. It would be safe to say that the front lip for the X-Package was not ready for this particular IS250 at Taste of Lexus.
Guys....i cant wait or the 09!!!....im calling dealerships every 2 days to see if they have recieved them yet...i'm waiting for the day to post "Just got my IS"...hehe....
that looks nice. i'd like to see that with the gray birdseye trim. and yeah, it does look black to me too
i agree, overall i think the center re-do is nice, the black is sharp, they should have left the old vents just made them black. the chrome may be a bit overdone, but it kind of dresses up the interior
