09 with pricing and options is up though

And it does look like they cut the price on the main packages...

Here's the really weird one though-

The option for ML without nav is back (it was removed because of me a few months into the 08 model year, but still available the whole time AFAIK)

It was $940 MSRP last year.

It's $4010 now. More than getting it WITH nav. (which is $3990)

And it still lists it including a DVD changer, which it doesn't unless they changed that too (can't imagine that adding over 3k to the price though)

I'll bet that is a typo and the new ML standalone price is $1,010. That is a common mistake on a 10-key. They really should have the DVD changer in that package, just for DVD-audio, since the drives are so cheap these days.

Yeah, I guess transposing 4/1 on a 10 key is likely...

It's weird they'd misrepresent there being a DVD changer once again though since the item was pulled from being listed on the website last time for most of the model year explicitly because of that exact mistake.

Interior photos are definitely 09 as they have the two-tone seats and revised nav buttons and central air vents.

My question is this: The IS has three switch buttons under the left-side air vent by the door. On the 08 the buttons are, in order, 1.) rear shade; 2.) headlight washers; 3.) coin holder.

But if you look at photo #8 in the interior gallery on lexus.com, the third button shows something illuminated (it's too small to make it out). Since the coin holder is not illuminated, is this button for a new feature in 09? (I think in some other parts of the world this button is used for a heated windshield - I'm not sure - so maybe this was photoshoped in by accident.)

Does anybody know?

As I recall, the website mistakenly listed auto-folding mirrors for the 08 as well. I think they never updated the typo and that these are not offered here in the U.S. on the 09, although I could be wrong.

Thanks for the close ups! Taillights are really cool when they light up, but just not sure if I like the styling. I've always identified the IS by the distinct taillight features of the 06-08.

Good eye, I wonder if they deleted the coin holder option because I don't see it on this pic. The 3rd option is def illuminated but can't tell what it is, I'm sure the mystery will be solved soon.
