lol i'll give that a try... but will that also erase the saved addresses on my navigation?
No, but it will reset some things..like resetting the power windows, and maybe the cancel of the seatbelt buzzer if you did that one (can't remember if that one resets or not). Your LPS won't reset either.
I say make a dealer appointment pronto. If the warranty covers it, why mess around?
yea the navi hack as Rashoodz stated and I also have the Vaistech SL2i iPod/iPhone kit. I probably can work my way around without getting my warranty voided but last time they had to fix my A/C they ended up jamming my Vaistech kit (old thread) so i'd rather figure it out and fix it on my own if possible.
When I unplugged my battery some parts of the car were reset to its manufacturing settings & it seems that nothing from the navigation unit got resetted (AM/FM channels etc). However I recall that when I did the navigation hack, my radio channels were all resetted… I’ll give that a try.
i checked all the fuses that are related to the center console (in all 3 fuse boxes), i took them off for more than a minute, i even entered the screen diagnostic screen which is indicating that the "audio" needs to be checked. I guess the Vaistech SL2i might be the cause.

Im having this problem as well.....exact same scenario. Did removing the Vaistech unit fix it?
