Hi, i want my light to be white blue while im driving my car at day time. so i just changed the Polarg M-4, but i just notied that when the car is started the high beam is on with the parking light too, so now my light is like yellow and just little bit white. so how can i solve the problem? do i have to change the high beam too? if so, can you guys give me some choice of the high beam?...i saw some of you guys are using LED, what are those? thx

the daytime running lights are the same bulb as your highbeams. they just run at half power. thats why no matter what kind of halogen bulb you use, it will still be yellow. only way to get rid of the yellow completely is to either remove the highbeams completely, or replace them with LEDs, but in both cases you lose your highbeams.

i think what you did was change your parking lite not your drl, parking lite = 194 and DRL = 9005

what!? so no matter how strong i use for the highbeams, they will still yellow for daylight?..so one time i saw someone's IS in here and his daylight is white....that means his highbeam is LED and he doesn't have highbeams?

most likely, yes. there are no halogen bulbs you could buy that would be white at half power.

so your choices are go with LED bulbs or remove your highbeam bulbs and lose your highbeam function, or stick with yellowish drl and keep your highbeam ability. since i never use my highbeams, i switched them out for 18smt vleds. they look much better, but they flicker and you can't even tell they're on during the day.

for the parking light, 11 LED is it too much? because i just want to see the blue port, not the whole thing is blue, or how many LED should i use?
and for the DRL(9005) is that one ok? or what type did you guys use?

i have the 11smt led for the parking lights and they ren't bright at all, especially with the lowbeams on. you'll be able to see the light, but they won't light up the entire housing.

as far as the 68smt drl bulb, that thing should be awesome. i have 18smt and its barely adequate. then again, if you want a subtle look for your drl, 68smt might be brighter than what you're looking for.

i am using 5 led right now with 4300k HID, there is no way LED buld can compare the brightness with HID anyway...

I am getting 600k HID today so I may try 11 led after 6000k upgrade. I am planning to get the 68 led for drl, when i willing to give up the high beam...
