Parking Lights WTF?

when the switch is on the "parking light" notch, it IS NOT supposed to turn off. That's the whole point of the function. What I was asking was, since the rear tail lights and license plate seem to also stay on, if anyone has any problems or experiences with using the parking lights.

Question regarding the parking light bulbs: Is it better to get the V-LED flank (right angle) 4 LED M-SMT High Power one or the forward-firing 4 LED SMT High Power one?
