Fast and VW don't usually belong in the same sentence unless it starts with "So I put a Porsche engine in my"
LOL do u know what a vw is capable of.. when u drop a vr6 on a hatchback awd. thats fast yea its not a sti, but u should look up a the EIP 700+ whp r32 then tell me if thats not fast or go look hpa r32s.

yea but those cars get engine rebuilds every couple of months... cant be used as a true daily... owning a 600+hp car is only possible if you own a shop...*yawn*

u have a very good point.. stock wise a 350 is faster, i have 90k miles on my r32 started buliding back n 05 its not a daily driver and dont plan to. vw is not a dependable car but so far i havent had any problems. its just expensive tuning a euro car. there should b a thread 350 vs k20 honda civic cuz last night some kid in busted 92 hatch smoked me by like 6 cars, on my is250.

yea gotta watch out for those beater hatchs... all go no show, one went side by side with my 13sec 5.0... (in hawaii 13's, not nice cool mainland weather 13's )
According to Car & Driver the R32 is being dropped for 2009 M.Y. I guess the VW guys didn't want the manumatic tranny. The first one (with the stick) sold pretty well.

The IS350 is faster.
R32 is a one year limited production car, like the 2004 and 2008 models only. That's why the resale value of the 2004's are ridiculously high.
there is no comparison between the two. the R32 only has 250hp but has AWD so it should out-handle the 350. the 350 hands down will out accel due to power. but nobody should compare the two, or even against an STi or EVO they are all in different classes.

oh common so you're saying a 700 hp r32 is even realistic for a non sponsored car? so how much hp do you have in your r32 and how much did you pay to get you there? I remember in the other thread with you that you were saying how your hpa r32 can blow away evos and so I edumacated myself a little bit on how much these r32 turbo kits cost and found that the cost for something like 450hp was like 20 thousand dollars.. lol whatever why spend so much only to have a even MORE unreliable lemon lol
