Quick question: do you need to remove the bumper to install it?

YES because the bumper is premarked already in the back side. Just need to drill it out accordingly.

Oh...

So, how about bumpers with parking sensors? Any specific instructions or precautions?

Looks great! I am surprised/relieved it color matched so well(I am buying the kit). Especially with an 06 which has 2 year old paint.

According to the instructions you would need to disconnect the neg. terminal of the battery, and when taking off the bumper, disconnect a connector for the sensors. Thats about the only difference I see.

Thanks for the info.

That sounds complex.

I'm gonna let someone else do the install for me...

It is actually not that complex, see the instruction by downloading it from Sewell.

Do you really have to cut and drill holes? Will the drilled holes be noticeable on the stock bumper if the GFX kit isnt on?

the hole's will definitely be noticeable if you remove the GFX kit after installing it. Not only do you drill holes, but cut out around the exhaust part of the original bumper. I think lyndred's old thread had shown what the bumper looks like after cutting it.

I'm dreading cutting into my bumper, but it will all be covered by the GFX kit, so its all good.
