ok my trim is begining to look ugly from my keys scratching it my phone etc so i was thinking of this

If you have wood trim, make sure you tape the edges with black or silver tape. Otherwise, you can see the wood edges underneath the overlay.
If you have scratches on your wood but you want to get rid of it, a good buff and polish should help. Try Maguire's ScratchX -- it did wonders for several scratches that I've added on the wood...

Believe me I agree, but THAT member didn't seem to like the CF interior
And you're probably right about differentiating the 2, that's why I'm going with a different route other than an overlay
