Ok, so i want to order some wheels. This is what ive found... 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with +30 offset front and rear. My car is lowered on eibach pro-kit springs, so 1.4 front and 1.0 rear. Will i be able to run 235/35 and 265/30 without rubbing?? Need to know soon so i can order
Edit: I just noticed that the 265/30R19's are about 1.7 inches less diameter than the stock 255/45R18's... Thats going to make the rear have a gap isnt it, and look kinda funny? Theres only a couple tires available in a 265/35R19.. and they're too expensive

Yea its been 2 hours, wait a while you will get some expert advice soon.
I'm no expert but I don't think you'll have any rubbing issues with that set up on eibachs.
You should try looking through the Aftermarket Wheel and tire thread. I searched quickly and I found this car. Might help

^^ yea he is +30 though so its not the same. 265/35 is too much tire IMO for the rear but that is why I wanted to see if he has the rear fenders rolled...I am pretty sure he hasnt. The fronts are fine all day long...
do you want the VIP "stretched look" or do you want to push the tire and have more protection for the rims?

I see in that other post, that guy has 19x8 +40 and 19x9.5 +35 with the 235 and 265 combo.. he is pretty flush, how is it going to work on my car with a 19x8.5 +30 up front, i think the extra 10mm will make it stick too far out, or even rub. The rears i have the same concern. The wheels im lookin at, i dont think anyone has put on a 2IS yet.
Im open to suggestions..
^^ I didnt rub when I had my spacers on with the same offset??
but anyway. I think the +30 is too aggressive unless you are going to slam the car and do some fender mods IMO and run stretched tires.
here is my suggestion:
I would go 19 x 8.5 +34 front (235/35-19) & 19 x 9.5 +38 (275/30-19 "or" 265/35-19)

^^sometimes different cars with the same offsets and tire specs have different experience with rubbing due to variations in lowering height as well as differences in tire size. Some tire shoulders are more square and some tires are more rounded off.
I agree with passnu2's tire spec recommendations if you want to be safe with your setup and not rub. fronts and rears with offsets from +34 to 38 would be a good safe range and still look good without spacers. Those tires have a mild stretch already anyway. Mine for example have zero protection for the rims the lips stick out beyond the tire any more stretch would be troublesome in the real world. At least for me.

The particular wheels im looking at only come in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 +30.... Maybe ill have to look at a different set. I really liked the ones i found though. They are from one of our forum sponsors, wheeldude.com. here is a link to the wheels: http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=1393
What can i do to make these work for me? Sticking with a 225/40 and 255/40 will keep the same overall diameter as the stock tires, just dont know if they will work for me. Im stuck

those sizes wont work any better I don't think. Nothing you can do except maybe shave down where the wheels mount to bring the wheels in a bit but if you're thinking about that then shaving, cuting, and rolling fenders might be easier. Or raise your car back up.
