Sorry but can you please claify what you mean by flipping it over?
I tried switching the bulbs from left to right and right to left and it still don't work. However, when the bulbs are in place it does not sit firmly, you can still wobble it.

you know connecting part is a " - " shape.
pull the bulb out, rotate it 180 degree and put it back, the bulb only light up if you are on a correct direction.
also make sure the wire of the bulb are bending outward so they can complete the circuit.
It's a dumb question, but are city lights the same as DRLs? DRLs, parking lights and city lights.... they're so confusing. I would also like to change the puddle lights, and they're 194 as well? So these and the city lights are the same size?

DRL/hibeam = 9005
parking lite *city light is incorrect name* = 194
side mirror puddle = 194 *buy flank type bulbs*

DRL = Daytime Running Lights
city lights are the little light in the upper corner of your high beam

Hey it finally fired up, you guys were right about flipping the bulbs around. Thank you so much for the help.
glad to hear i was gonna say i have my parking lights for almost a year now and they are still good and yes they are from vleds. llama so the flanks fit in the puddle, do u have to modify anything since its a right angle bulb?
The question you have to ask yourself is do you want a 'match' or you just want BRIGHT, if you want to match i suggest you go with the 194 5smt *white* from vleds, if you dont care about matching and want something contrasting and BRIGHT go with the 27smt bulb, i myself currently use the 11smt but if anything happens to these bulbs i will go back to the 5smt.
llamaboiz thanks for the clarification. Btw, which bulb are you running for the low beam/ DRL? 68 M-SMT from V-leds?
The 27 smt sure contributes quite a bit to the output of the light. Before the 27 smt was in place, my low beam was flaring out a tint of blue, but now the beams are completely crystal white. Overall, the color combo still looks pretty nice, so not as bad i guesss.

no they fit fine and dont worry about polarity, they work.

i run the 1watt LED from wardenjp_2002 (warden_jp2002? ebay guy in hk), i wont run the bigger type bulbs cuz when the lights are off they make a funky yellow bug eye look in the housing. i might try the 3watt Cree bulbs from vleds thou. in the case of larger number leds 'less is more' but thats just a personal preference
