Has anyone heard about that this part is currently on back order?

Just curious because I ordered mine last Friday and the vendor told me that it is.

 

I feel our vendors are trust worthy! Just stay in touch and it will all work out

 

ya i called and my rear gfx was on backorder, got the lip the following week. its a killer price and wait is worth it

 

hey I heard its because the new ones for 09 wont fit our cars? anyone heard this?

 

I ordered my kit from SewellLexus and it came a within 2-3 days. I have starfire pearl.

I believe this is true and here is my reasoning...

If go to sewell's online site, start shopping by selecting the "ISx50" model. Then you'll notice there is already a "2009" field. Select it.

Once in you'll notice for exterior performance parts, there is only the OEM rear spoiler available for a 2009 ISx50, but not the current GFX kit.

 

i'll tell u another reason people are buying it like no tomorrow becuz the price is cheap.

 

Yes, at $199 it's almost half of the sticker price. However, I didn't buy it because it's cheap (didn't even know about the price drop), this is sort of an unexpected mod for me because I messed up the original front bumper lower piece so figured might as well get the lip...

So, you guys don't care if the 2009's are going to be so different than the current ones? (why wouldnt it fit?).

Wow.. Im expecting a huge difference in front body, and rear body for the 2009 IS's?
