Default IS350 pulls to the right...

I set my steering wheel straight and my car goes straight--so far so good. But as soon as I let go of the steering wheel, my car slowly pulls to the right. So I took my car in to a dealer for an alignment. After the alignment, I tested my car over a week and it still has this same problem.

Anyone else having this problem too?

There has been a thread about this issue before. Check the search tool for the thread. CL members have thrown out a couple of ideas as to what the cause could be.

There is a TSIB for the 2008 models:

http://lexustsb.com/index.php?sid=54...=62&artlang=en

It might help you diagnosis the problem yourself.

Thanks for posting that link. haha They have a TSIB on there for NAVIGATION SYSTEM VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM "TALK BACK" MALFUNCTION. 80% of the time when I ask my nav to do something, I get a totally difference response as to what I wanted it to do.

I had the same problem and after I got my alignment done at the dealership it still kept pulling to the right so I went back and asked for the before and after specs on my toe so when I asked that my SA went ahead and re-did the alignment again. :-)

just get it aligned when you throw on the rims and then do it again about a month after you lower the car.

there sure does seem to be a lot of TSIB for our car being a Lexus???

Don't forget roads are crowned ( higher in the center ) so that rain runs off them. That will naturally pull your car to the right. Does your car pull to the right when driving on a flat, smooth parking lot ?

The problem with the dealership is that you get idiots who read the spec sheet from the alignment machine and say "it's within spec"; a phrase I'm coming to despise. If you go to the dealership for an alignment, tell them to put it up on the machine, measure it, then come ask you what to do next. At that point you can tell them what you want.

Are you on the stock tires? I know a lot of the Dunlop tires (I think there were some cases with the Bridgestones but not as much) that came stock with the car had issues just like you. Longo Lexus replaced my Ball Bearings for my first complaint. The second complaint they said that my tire pressure was too low (I doubt it because it was off by at most 3 psi on ALL tires). The third time they did an alignment and told me that my car was within spec and that the pulling was normal on "sports" cars. I finally called Lexus and they got Longo to have a technician go on a test drive with me on the freeway. When we got on the freeway, the tech let go of the steering wheel and my car would change about 2-3 lanes BY ITSELF within a short amount of time. The tech agreed that this wasn't normal and their system showed that I had already tried every type of "correction" in the past so they just gave me the newer Bridgestone tires. That solved the problem and I got new tires! I had about 11,000 miles on the tires but their systems had logs of me complaining very early on.
