Default Cigarette Lighter is no longer working

I greatly appreciated if anyone could take a pic of your lighter for me. My lighter is no longer working , and when I plugged something to it - I do not get power . Also, I'm wondering if there is a fuse for the lighter . On the other hand, the power plug inside the center console is working fine - I get power when plugged something to it.

I recently disembled the cigarrett lighter by unscrew a 10mm bolt underneath. A white rock thingy and a metal piece fell out from inside of the lighter. However when I put everythig back, the lighter is no longer working. Therefore, I wanted to make sure that I put them back correctly.

Below are a few pics of my lighter. As you could see the white rock thingy and a metal piece that seats on to of it.

10mm bolt

There are 2 cutouts on both side inside of the lighter

Thanks for the info fluxx, however I'm still unsure if I re-assembled the lighter correctly . As you can see there are 2 cutouts, however the metal piece are not seat in (line-up with) those cutouts .

Thanks...fixed it as according to your pic. However its still not working, now I suspected it must be the fuse.

Re- lineup the inside of the lighter

Pics of the fuse(s) cover right above the left foot - on the driver side - (improve clarity with Contrast adjustments)

Anyone knows which one its ?

omg. buy a light tester and probe any of them that you suspect. It should be 15AMP. If i recall correctly, it is on the passenger side kick panel.

one more thing, read the manual!!!

this forum is my manual - I know i'm being lazy . Thanks for the info mate. I was hoping for a quick diagnose and fix - but guess not ha . BTW, there is only one 15AMP labeled as FR S/HTR LH <- must be that one ha?

Thanks slee18 and istundra! Found it, it must be this one I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get a new fuse from Autozone to test it out. Hopefully new fuse will fix it, I'll keep everyone updated tmr.

Indeed its slee18 . The fuse for the lighter is busted, the lighter is now working after I switched it with the 15amp fuse that located right on top of it. I'll get a new fuse tomorrow for the power plug in the center console. Thanks for your help guys
