I used alchohol for cleaning and any dishwasher detergent or shampoo can work fot he bottle. doesnt have toe a specific mixture. as long as its not too bubbly... when u go around the corners, like Extreme99 said, these stretch, but dont overstretch. use a heat gun or blow dryer around the edges and press down hard for it to stick.

any luck yet?

It is not hard but like others said, it's very time consuming.
I put clear bra on my IS by myself. It took me about 6 hours and it still looks good after 1.5 years.

Im pretty sure its the side mirror. Just a FYI, it doesnt cover the full mirror it just covers areas where its most prone to rock chip damage. So you can arrange it where ever you feel is best.

It only take time, you need to heat and stretch a little of the vinyl. Dont overstretch, take your time, use a lot of water and you'll get it right!

start with one corner and work to another corner

For the front bumper, match the fender lines as well as the sides of the front grille. Those parts should match up nearly perfectly but the rest will have some exposed paint.

So near the fog lights, headlights will have about 5-8mm gap where it isnt protected by anything.

* when you install it, i suggest you stretch the film a little to match up the clear bra and the towing hole in the front( its the square box in the front bumper) I know the pre cut films dont 100% match up right there)

about 99% of shops will use pre cut films, Its all about the install job. You can stretch the film which makes it easier to cover up mistakes by the templates. Remember the templates were just measurements that other people have submitted that are then inserted into the software that will cut the film whenever they have the model of car in front of them.

Theres only a few shops that will do a custom install and they will charge you an arm and a leg for( 1K+). If the installer is good, they can fix the pre cut film and make it look like it was suppose to be like that.
