It is definitely a valid ticket because a cop wrote up a citation along w/ a couple others on my last car. It was a simply fix-it ticket but still a $10 fine. He and his buddy brough out the tape measure and measured out from the middle of my headlight to the ground..lovely. They figure there is a danger of the tire blowing out and you causing an accident so its not street-safe..
i think he's still on his zeals.. he was talkin about doing air.. but dunno if it went thru or not.
I'm pretty sure he's on air..I don't know of any manufacturer for coilovers makes a product that will allow THAT much of a drop. If anything he's on air runners or something of the like.
actually the reason the cop gave me a ticket was because there was a crowd of people checking out my car in the parking lot. the cop rolled by and was like "whos car is this" then everyone pointed to me and i was like not even anywhere near my car. cop calls me over and was like let me get your license and registration. makes me pop my hood. i tell the cop i dont have plates cause its a "new car" but in reality its almost a year old lol. then he gets pissed cause i lied and he gave me a fix it ticket for my car being dangerous to drive on the street. he was trying to give me a ticket for my brakes but another cop told him he couldnt do that in the end he didnt even give me a fix it for not having plates which is one of the reasons he harassed me.
i dont mind the ticket...my bro is in chp so i just got it signed off right when i got home
