Default Test Drove a 2006 IS250 AWD

Well today lemme just say it was beautiful out in the NY area. My father and I went to Lexus of Greenwich,CT...First time I've ever been to Greenwich. Some nice cars. VERY NICE CARS for in that area...Some the cars on the preowned lots look like crap, almost all the rims on the car had some sort of curb rash, bottom lip scrapes. On one IS250 all the sidewalls of the tires were ripped..I test drove a 2006 IS250 AWD. It had the works.. Car all together was wondering. THe handling was great! Had everything but P.A.. Lets just say I walked out of there empty handed. They only took 1500 off the car. I said your kidding me and I just started to **** on him! I told him i'll just goto Prestige in New Jersey.

Did you really think you were going to get a mint condition car at a used car price? Curb rash, lip scrapes, minor paint chips and dings are all considered wear and tear, buddy.

Not mint, but they could of touched them up a lil bit. I know they fix'em up before they deliver them to you.

I bought a used 07 IS250 too here in NJ last sept, other than a bottom lip scrap, some rock chips and a small scrap on the side of the lower bumper, the car was brand spanking new.

the car brand new was 37,800, the car was selling for 37,000.

Needless to say for a used, no way in hell I was gonna get a used for more than a brand new one for less.

I walked away that day with that car, for 30k exact, including tax and handling

Prestige has some '07s with no miles on them.

That's BS. Lexus does not (or at least should not) put any old piece of junk on their lots to sell themselves, especially when it's a Lexus for pete's sake. Bad for their image.

Yeah--it's embarassing what they start off as asking for used. I paid less than their asking for my '07 when it was new.
