So I got my SEIBON lips.... :(
So I finally got my SEIBON front and rear lip that I ordered from Ground Dynamics...
and the FITMENT is really off...both front and rear...I know they aren't suppose to fit perfectly but it was an inch short on both sides per lip. I bought it to the guy at the body shop and he said he can't do anything because the its carbon fibre unless I am willing to have him chop it up, extend it and paint it= a lot more money
Has anyone else had this problem with this SEIBON???
Anyways, I just had to vent!
Thanks, I hope everyone enjoys their weekend! TGIF

Seibon is really good about customer service. Give them a call and see what they have to say. The last time I heard of a customer having a similar problem like yours with the lip it ended up being that you must work from one side to the other instead of from the middle to ends. Seibon said if you start in the middle it will always come up short.

This reminds about the time when I was installing my OEM lip on my s2000. I seriously thought the OEM lip was somehow the wrong size lol. It was a very tight fit, but perfect once I got it on. I had to go from side to side and luckily it came with 3m tape already to go.
Try side to side like what Chops said.

they fit perfect...honestly the kit fits like a glove.
when you TRY to do it yourself you'll get a 1" short on the end..and it seems like you would have to pull it in order for it to catch and fit, but doing that will result in the sides to crack. happend to me....so just chill
take it to a body shop that KNOWs how to install aftermarket kits. I dont know how they did it, but after leaving them the car for 30 min, they test fitted the kit to be a perfect fitment. i think they shaved off some stuff? no clue, but i would take a to a body shop instead of DIY eventho its just a lip kit.

same happened with mine kind of... just gotta shave the sides down dude... same happened with the rear... gotta shave it because some resin dries at weird shapes at the edges and you get rid of it and it goes right now...
