I think someone hit him and the car was totalled, so he got a new IS, which was a 350.

I think the max you should go for the front windshield should be 40%. Personally when i get my windshield tint it will be 50% or 60%

Don't go 35% for the windshield. My neighbor had his windshield at 35%, and he totaled his Corvette driving one night due to poor visibility. My brother has 50% on his windshield with 35% on all the other windows....it looks pretty good.

I've been wanting to do this for awhile now but I have 5% all around already so I'm a little worried that I won't be able to drive at night....

I have "LIMO TINT" on all windows except the front windshield If you're young and have perfect vision, its fine.

I'm usually watching out for cops, so that i can roll down my two front windows and act oblivious that he's even next to me. LOL

People really get jealous of my "LIMO TINT" when they are in my car and see how it really blocks on the cali sun, to where it doesn't burn there freaken arm, like it does in there car. (YEAH YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT)

I have 5% all around including a strip in the front (8 inches I think). I'm not sure how I feel about the front strip on this car. So either leave it alone or do the whole windshield.

I think 35% is too much for the windshield at night. Go 50% or lighter. Your age gives you good eyesight but you're still an inexperienced driver at this point. I'm sure you're a good driver but don't put yourself in a dangerous situation.

I would definitely vouch for the rest and say get the 50% on the front... But maybe you should consider just getting the 35% darker?

I'm not trying to come off mean here, but you don't know me or my driving habits/history to make that assumption. True, if i said i was 16 and just got my drivers license. Sorry to throw you off, i still think 27 is young. LOL

If i were old, squint or wear glasses, i would definitely not get the limo tint, and endanger my life and/or others.

I'm confused.
Isn't the OP 19 years old? If you are 27, then what I wrote doesn't apply.

I did say I'm sure the 19 year old is a good driver, but if he just started at 16 or 17 then technically he is inexperienced.

Actually I'm 20 years old. Have a brand new house in my name. Have a brand new Lexus in my name. Work full time, 40 hrs a week, managing a branch of my mothers company. I may not be far from being 19, but I'm far from a teenager.

Although I genuinely appreciate that implication that I'm a careless driver, in actuality, my IS 250 was hit head-on by a vehicle which did not have right of way.

Do you guys think that it would be dangerous to put a 35% on the front? Should I just do 50% on the windshield??

I am 19 with 20/10 eye sight so I might be ok.. vs an older person with bad eye sight yano??

I have 6000k low beams with oem yellow fogs.. so i have pretty good light output
i would just do the top strip it will darken the inside...
