Wow on the Acura website it says the MPG is:

6 Speed Manual City: 20
6 Speed Manual Hwy: 28

Wow, thats not that impressive, especially since your getting a 4 cylinder.
You got to give it to Lexus for making one of the most refined V6's in the world.

I DONT KNOW OF ANY OTHER V6 THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE TO THOSE MPGS, THE 250, EVEN THE 350's V6, does anyone else know?

I voted for the IS250.

New TSX seems to be ugly in the front, like everyone else said.

I haven't driven it but the engine is the same engine as the 2008 TSX and along with a heavier car, probably won't be going very fast (and the previous TSX is not that fast to begin with). Mileage is deceiving. I'm getting a combined 50/50 city/hwy in hilly SF of 26mpg. Highway about 31-32mpg. I'm hoping to get more as the car breaks in.

Like someone said, TSX for value, IS250 for luxury/amenity, IS350 for performance!

My last car was a TSX, really miss those HID's on that car. Cant believe Lexus does not have Xenon's as a standard on all of their cars.

I don't get why some people are so into hid lighting, it doesn't make any difference to me...

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post a thread like this, what with the marketing of the new TSX being marketed directly to the "look at me, I'm a young hip junior exec and I'm money" crowd.

The TSX might be a little underpowered but they will fix that when they will put the RDX engine in it, which they are supposed to do for the TSX type S. I have always been a fan of honda products, but I strongly agree that they missed their target with the new TSX, at that type of price they should truely offer some kind of RWD motors or even exterior design that is more appealing.

Test drove it today with the wife. No soul to this car - no ***** - cheap feel to it. Ultimately the IS250 was pretty close to the same price when leased for us. So of course we are going to to with the IS250!

Is it really that hard to choose between our 2IS with TSX? Nothing in the honda family stands a chance. I'll take my old IS300 over the new TSX, and our 2IS over a TL Type-S, even with IS250. The new TSX looks worse than the last one, I hope the new TL doesn't follow the same design cues as the TSX... I just don't understand why the new Accord looks more like an Acura than Acuras, I guess they will never be able to step up to the level where Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Audi are at.

That's a great point. I started this after I had a link pop up to the new site on the TSX. I had read a review on how the heck it was going to compete in such a competitive segment (entry lux sedan) and every review has the underpower getting it blown out of the water.

Good marketing by Acura... click on the link, see a stunning car, the impulse to buy rises (new, hip, cutting edge, etc.) but in the end they have not created a truly competitive end product.

Heard through contacts at Acura that they are VERY nervous on prospective buyers first impressions and feedback....

Fender flairs do not belong on a sedan. Nor does a huge piece of slab-sided plastic make for a nice grille. A big thumbs down.

I don't like the front of the new Acura's, it looks like a bird!

I also don't like the leather in honda's, though nice, I don't like the pleats in it.

I also don't like the gas pedal in the Acura's, it's too stiff.
