An oil change isn't necessary. You're not going to do any major stop and go traffic throughout the whole trip.
Years ago, I went on a 20 hour trip with an old dodge caravan. It ran without hiccups. There is no reason why your IS cannot endure the 18 hour trip.

I've done trips of 24 hrs, 32 hrs and 36 hrs straight. After each trip I swore I would never do this again. It was a lot harder on me than the car. This was back in the mid 80's in an RX-7. The Lexus should be a lot more comfortable!

I would imagine being harder on the driver than the car.
Cars are made to withstand that drive as long as you have maintained it well. Be on the safe side for yourself. Take a nice break to eat or something, driving long hours can be boring and tiring.

I drove Sacramento to Atlanta three times last year in May. Once in a Scion tC, once in my Supra, and once in my IS350. All cars went at least 24 hours straight, and the Supra went 35 hours straight (two drivers). No damage to the cars at all. The wife and I drove 30 hours from Baltimore MD, to Evanston WY in a single shot - only stopped for gas - in her '96 Camry with a 5F-SE that went 450 miles+ on a tank of gas. No problem for the car at all.

And we won't even talk about the time I went from Cedar Rapids IA to Sacramento CA in 26 hours - once in my '88 GTS Corolla, and once on my 1980 750F Honda...
