Default **** previous owner or problematic car

Hey everyone,
I got my IS350 about 5 weeks ago and so far I haven't found anything wrong. It might have 1 small rattle but for the most part its been great. I signed up with lexus.com owner resources page and checked my service history only to find the previous owner had many records on the car.

Some of them are somewhat straightfoward whearas others are completely bizzare. If anyone could help me decode some of these it would be great. The car currently has 16k and I bought it was with 13k. I ommitted some of the records, but since most of them are so weird I just copied and pasted the majority. If anything I hope some of you get a good laugh out of some of these.

If anyone knows what an instrument louver is(im assuming cluster) or what the hell blue jeans have to do with a car, I'd greatly appreciate it. I wonder what the ASM is an what advice it gave. Maybe it told the guy to sell the car lol. I'm not too concerned about it but it is somewhat of a blip on the radar. It's quite possible that after buying the car at Putnam his whole experience was ruined by Stevens Creek.

Any comments are appreciated Thanks!

That is correct......For major defects on the car they require you to make an appt. with the area service manager so he can inspect the problem. It takes forever to get him in but they are very good with pleasing there customers.

I am quite ****. I fixed all my rattles (a lot). However I think I have calmed down a little. There's this rattle coming from the passenger side headrest and I think I can live with it.

As I always say, I recommend getting the TSIB's for the dash, sunroof, seat squeak etc only if they apply. My car is quiet now and I am very happy. I will take small noises over sensor failure any day. Many members have been happy with TSIB fixes. As for the leather, you can try some oxy clean and a terry cloth and rub the blue jean staining out. I have seen this on couches with Italian soft leather.

Thanks for the responses. That kinda sux about the leather. I keep my seat on A/C almost 100% of the time. I would imagine the warmer the area the easier it transfers. I haven't noticed it staining but I only wear jeans on the weekend. I'm glad the previous owner had the TSIBs done but I'm curious what the ASM came out for. If anyone is interested, I bought the car from a chevy dealer who took it in as a trade-in. Supposedly he traded it in for a Tahoe.

From a serious perspective, perhaps the original owner was very heavy set and needed a larger car like the Tahoe? Furthermore, this could have lead to the blue jean transfer as the occupant was promoting more pressure and weight due to their size, it is just a thought.
