Shaking at the stop light
mine has done the same thing to me a handful of times and i'm now at 40k. said something to the dealer yesterday about it when i was in for an oil change since it happened again that morning. they checked the computer for any codes it may have thrown but found nothing. they said i most likely have carbon build up and also need the injectors cleaned. they suggested a throttle body cleaning and injectors cleaned. i say a bunch of b.s.! the car is too young for all of that and i only use premium fuel since i got it brand new. what do you all think?

Had this happen to my 2010 IS250, 3-4 times at a stop light, 2-3 times while shifting to reverse after cold start. I had the dealer look at it a couple of times, but found nothing. Could be related to the TSB for older IS250.
Chicagi23, how long does the symptom reappear again during those 2-3 times??
Anyone else with newer IS experience this?
I only had it once on my 2012 IS250 and then I haven't seen it for many days now. What should I do to prevent this from happening again?

I drive an '07 IS250 (197,000 miles on her), and about 1x month or maybe once every other month i feel the same thing everyone has been describing. You come to a stop light, the RPMs seems to dip crazy low and the car trembles, and then the RPMs return to normal. Sometimes the RPM goes up/down/up/down a few times, which usually freaks me out. I turn off the A/C when this happens, and it seems to settle down. If that still doesnt work, i might put the car in neutral and then the issue resolves. The car has never stalled on me (in the 10 years ive owned her), so while this "issue" feels scary/serious, nothing "bad" has happened yet. I guess we can just call it a "quirk" of this type of car and stop worrying about it?
