Hi to all, just want to say it a very nice forum and people. I been joined this forum for a couple of months now but I only posted a few. My question is, I picked up a 08 IS250 with premium package+18" wheels+preferred accessory package+HID with Adaptive lighting system for $34,849 OTD. Sticker asked for $35,651. Oh,is the OTD price including the financing cost?
OTD price is the price overall, including taxes and fees.
If you got a 08 IS250 for $34, 849 Out The Door...then imo you did a good job. I paid about $34, 800 ($37,000 OTD) for my car and it was already about half a year old.
California pricing is different. The prices are cheaper in Cali. than anywhere else.
So what you Cali guys think is a bad deal, it might be a good deal where someone else lives.
Secondly, A good deal doesnt necessarily mean price. If the OP feels his purchase was fair, got good service, friendly and helpful staff... then he got a good deal. Thats all that matters.
I personally think that the options + 18" wheels. for $34K and change, he got a good price.

Agreed. The IS is a great value in its class, and is so sweet inside and out. Even if you paid $1,000 too much, if you have the car 4 years that's $250/year and it's worth that to have the car.
It's a done deal now and you can't return the car just because some people got their cars cheaper. Just enjoy your new ride and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it. Congrats on your new car and welcome to CL.
As far as pricing, it's a reasonable price. Maybe dealerships are selling them higher than before because of the gas price. With gas price over $4/gal(premium) ppl are buying smaller engines. Law of supply and demand. Just my 2 cents.
