Does that look weird or is it ok? I think something looks a little off about it. maybe when I get the whole cf kit all around it'll look better? Or should I just sell the rims and get silver ones? I'm open to ANY input

 

Should have painted the grill the same way to give it an effect. different wheels/bigger would make it nice.

thats about all the CF i would put on a 2IS. much better then a full non painted CF hood on a 2IS.

and are both your headlights and fogs optic blue from aerotech??
no offense to aerotech, i love their quality in products but its kinda on the expensive side.

 

I didn't wanna paint the grill 'cause of the chrome piece. I kinda like the chrome piece. I'm gonna have chrome lip on my rims whatever color I get so I wanted that to kinda match with the chrome grill. Also the grill is ebay so I didn't wanna go through the trouble of painting it or doing ANYTHING to it 'cause the fitment sucks.
I still think it looks hella weird. I think Im about to give the rims to my cousin who has a black acura tl-s. It looks HECKA good on his car.

I love everything but the blue overlays and gas cap. Nothing on your car is blue so the headlights really stick out. The gas cap also doesnt look like it fits. Other than that the car looks awesome, I love the hood and ur wheels are awesome what kind are they again? they look like SSR's

 

I agree, maybe if you vinly ur roof it might look better, try a photoshop. Car looks totally diff from the burger run. looking good.

 

I second the black roof. Would match it a lot better.

if I were you..
1)I'll definitely take off the blue overlays
2)use black vinly or paint the roof black (but do vinly just in case)
3)paint the grill so that it will somehow flow better with your hood
4)put back the original gas cap

do all of the aboves..and then take more pics and post!!!

 

leave the overlays, i like them. new wheels!!!

DO NOT BE LIKE THESE RICERS and paint the roof/vinyl the top. unless its got a glass top or panoramic dont do it. waste of money when it doesnt do much function.

 

oh yeah.. forgot to mention but I'm doing the vinyl black roof for sure in the summer when I have a chance to go to LA. I heard it's only 80 bucks? to do it at some shop in LA and so I'm down with that. Unless anyone knows of a place that they do that for around 100 bucks up in the bay area. hrm... maybe it IS the blue overlays that are making it look off? Maybe I will take them off.

 

definitely the vinyl on the roof would make it look better. I like the overlays.

 

Overlays on headlights are really tacky get rid of them the foglight overlays are fine. Change the gas lid back and you're pretty much okay.
