Default Nav stack fitment issues after Nav Override Kit?

Has anyone studied or noticed the gap where the dash meets the navigation stack after installing the Nav Override kit?

I feel that the stack does not meet the dash as flush as it did in the past. I've adjusted it twice so far:

1st time: the nav stack and AC vents were right up against the driver side.

2nd time: Muscled the stack a little bit to get the gap even on both driver and passenger side, but I feel that toward the bottom of the stack, the driver side gap is pushed further in than the passenger side.

Am I just over-analyzing this whole thing, or has anyone else noticed similar fitment issues?

Your over analyzing...

There is only a 1-2 milimeter of room to play with...

Or

what you can try to do is use 2 credit cards on both sides to keep in centered before you tighten down the bolts..

I would agree with joe z... There is really not a lot of adjustment available when bolting the nav stack back into the dash.

Mine hasn't been touched since it left the factory, and is not quite centered either.
