Default 4 weeks without my IS

Some of you know my car was hit by a hail storm in Dallas a few weeks ago. I just dropped off the car to Lexus yesterday and they took a look at it today and I will need me hood, roof and trunk replaced.

Because the storm was so bad, State Farm is backed up with work, so it might be a week before someone can get out to the Lexus body shop to do another estimate for a supplement.

This sucks! I have so many parts waiting to be installed on it!

Hopefully it won't take 4 weeks *crossing fingers*

Yes, it stinks when you have a claim pending or work needed to be done in the wake of an "Act of God." Most insurance companies are inundated with claims and it tends to slow the process. You will have the car back in time and your mods will be all that much more to anticipate.

I hate to be a nay sayer, but my experience with body shops says that you take time estimate they gave you for the repair and double it.

I feel you my car has to go to the shop because of a hit and run. Plus I have to get the rattles in the dash and also the sunroof is rattling. PLUS my right rim has some damage from a pothole. So I guess im in the club
