I need CL advice
Hello CL members
I'm looking at a 2007 IS 250 with Nav, SGM and dark interior.
They are asking for $26,995. Also its not CPO from Lexus, but from another dealership.
Here's the kicker, it has 31K miles..... (1 previous owner)
*No Accidents, according to CarFax reports
*RWD
*Dual Power Seats
*Leather Heated Seats
*Auto
DEAL
or No DEAL?
Should I be good with the original warranty that came with the vehicle?
Should I invest in another warranty from the dealership?
*Did the 07 IS 250 come with a rear view camera?
Any advice would help
Thanks CL members

damn . . . 31k miles? more details on the car such as AWD, RWD, manual, does it have all the service invoices(records), accident report, extra options besides the navigation, big $$$ upgrades, etc etc
Hmmmm...
I like the price if the mileage was nearer 15-20k.
An '06 should have that mileage. Try to do a KBB comparison of the '06 and '07, and try to get that car at a used '06 price...

That's a lot of miles! Yes 2007 has backup camera with navigation.
BTW a clean CarFax doesn't mean it wasn't in an accident, only that it wasn't in a big one.
Be sure to check for the "vin plates' located throughout the car: inside doors, engine bay, hood, trunk, etc etc....it's kinda like a "safety seal" which isn't replaceable once broken.
Also look for any imperfections in paint, especially over screws - most cheap body shops will paint right over those.
Finally, get the vin # and ask your local Lexus dealer if they will run a service report. This will tell you if the previous owner got regular service at Lexus dealerships. I would recommend going in person to ask as if you call they can refuse - it's not a requirement they do this. lol
Good luck.
