I just called a broker who was recommended to me to get an '08 350 from the states, to get some information on pricing & whatnot.
He first asked me if I was looking for the 2008 or 2009 model, which caught me off guard because I hadn't even heard anything about the '09 model. Then after I told him all the specs I wanted, he said it might be hard to find in the '08 and I may have to go with the 2009 model.
So does anybody have any information on the 2009 IS 350? I haven't heard anything about it or haven't seen any pictures whatsoever. Does anybody have any information on it?
That seems real odd, the 08's just released at around October to November of last year and the 09's will probably come out the same month for this year. I'll try and ask your broker again to make sure.

2009 won't be available until mid to late summer in US market.
They'll take 09 orders as early as probably June, certainly by July.... but the actual cars won't arrive till end of sept/early October. They're 100% for sure not taking them now though.
Didn't you hear the April 1st, 2008 Lexus special report that says the 2009 IS350 will be getting a single turbo to better compete with the 335i? Sources are saying it'll add about 50 hp to the IS350, which will put it around 356 hp so it'll be about 60 shy of the IS-F. However, look for prices to jump around $3000 more...

this has to b some kind of sick and twisted joke....
Newly designed dash with Navigation placed higher for easier viewing is most likely going to be one of the changes for 2009, as the 2009 ISF in Australia is having that changed.

an interior redesign would be surprising since 2009 would only be the 4th year with the design. maybe a minor change, though, in that the nav is up top and the vents down below. any photos of the AUS version available?
