Default Quick question about Nav hack

Hey guys,

Do i need to unplug the negative terminal on the battery when performing a Nav Hack?
or pull the fuse ?? Sorry, its the first time I open my hood

Never cut wires or do anything seriously electrical without taking the negative cable off. Good practice.

I didn't do anything like that when I did it. The car was simply "off."

I Just unplugged the connectors from the back of the radio/navi unit. Do what you feel is safe. It cant hurt to do this and only takes a few minutes!
