hahaha.....NO!

I was in a very dark garage and trying to get stuff from the trunk and saw this...

pretty cool but i think it makes intuitive sense...how else can you locate that thing in the dark right?

hmmm i wonder if it will glow forever tho or will it slowly fade likea glow stick.

my friend told me about this. he also told me that our trunk is very sound proof and he could not hear a thing when he was in there. I was in a 06 honda civic si and the trunk was loud as hell and i could not find the quick trunk release in there lol. only reason he was in my trunk was i had no more space in the car and they didnt not want to lap up

i can see the news reports now... lol attempted kidnap of a chick from a local bar goes horribly wrong when the victim notices the glowing trunk release. GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!

I'm sure that it will fade over time. But, I think it only takes a quick second of light to get it to glow.

What I like most about the "handle" is the picture on it.

I CAN SEE THE LIGHT!!!!! Yes, this trunk release that has the glowing chemical element to it was made popular on many cars several years back as a safety net for kids. I remember seeing it on the Ford Taurus. My gen 1 IS300 had it. Kind of reminds me of an "After School Special" gone right!!!
