Default Just installed HIDs

So me and my friend just finished installing the Mobile HID 6000k kit on my IS250. At the same time we were installing some V-LEDs for the parking lights.

My dumbass, somehow managed to drop the entire bulb into the housing... now it's stuck in there. Any suggestions on how to take it out without having to take the headlamp out?

if not, can anyone let me know how to take the bumper and headlamp out? we tried taking the fender walls out earlier, no luck. I'm not used to toyotas/lexus, so this is all pretty new to me.

Also, I must've unplugged something without knowing. But when I turned the car back on.. it gave me a warning "Check VSC"

Can anyone tell me where the VSC wires are?

Thanks in advanced! I'll have pictures posted as soon as my friend sends them to me.

Tilt your car like 90 degrees. Hehe sorry, no help from me. However, I remember that someone ran into the same kind of problem you did, maybe a little search?

use a strong magnet at the end of a flexible rod. that's what i did when i dropped my led into the headlight. i was surprised the magnet was able to attach to the led. i'm pretty sure u can find it at like home depot or something...

Haha LMAO... The only reason I laugh is because I did the same thing...TWICE...the first time I droped the bulb and bought another set.
So for the price of 2 bulbs...I paid double.

Then the bulbs didn't match...so I ended up replacing the other...
The good thing is when I droped the bulb in there , you can't even see it, and it doesn't rattle around.

dont know if this will work....

but... get a flexible rod of some sort.... chew some bubble gum..... stick it at the end of the rod... stick it in the housing and and hopefully it sticks to the bulb!

good luck

Try to use a strong vacum...make sure to clean out or use a new bag so you can retrive the led.

Don't make it a headache, take the headlight out and shake the bulb out. All this talk about fishing and putty, gum, etc... what if the putty or gum sticks to the lens... then you are really fcuked. Do a search, the 2IS section has a lot of support on doing things like this.

I took off my 3GS bumper to install my HID fog lights without knowing anything about a 3GS. Can't be that hard.

Stick your hands into the headlight housing, i was able to find the bulb that way after i bought another bulb haha so give it a try or else go buy new bulbs and save the time.

Or take apart your bumper and shake it like a salt shaker

lol i bought one of those 99 cent magnet things from autozone and just stuck it thru the high beam hole and got it out like that... took a minute, no biggie haha

as for the vsc, i held down the vsc button for about 30 seconds and the next time i turned on the car, it went away... so everything is good now!!
