Been looking into opening up and painted the headlight housing on the 2IS. I have done acouple on diffrent cars and all have been pretty much the same steps. Is there a DIY on the 2IS? Anyone on these boards do this?

I'd like to do this to my IS also. I did it to my G35 but I also went crazy on that car.

Man does that look so great. You always run the risk of moisture after a mod like this, but I guess if you seal it properly with atv or silicone, you would be ok. Removing that amber reflector makes all these cars look so much better.

Yes, provide a DIY for the 2IS. looks like you are a pro at these oven mods. I had a buddy do this to his 94 Supra in order to polish out the fogging and it worked perfectly. Curious what temp and how long in the oven?

Is it difficult to take out the headlight unit on the IS? Is there a DIY for just taking out the headlight unit?

You have to remove the front bumper cover.
