I was just wondering if anyone has ever tired using their ISx50 with the Back Up camera for their Road Test?! Or use a Lexus to take the Road Test?!
Not very common for ME seeing that around here. It was a funny and curious question because I was going to let my GF use my car for her road test and she asked if the instructor would say anything about it. Like would they mark you off points just because your paying more attention to the screen then your rear view and side mirrors. Of course I told her shes still going to need to look around because of blind spots, but I was just curious also if any instructor said anything about it or got marked off points by looking at it?!

the instructor doesnt have the right to complain.. i mean..hey the car is equipped with back up cam..so what? she wants you to deactivate the cam while road test? hell no..
but make sure she doesnt look at the cam only..also look at rear view n side mirrors..
just a little tips here..hope it helps

That would make sense if she was always going to drive only her car. But in that the license would be valid for any passenger car the examiner is justified in insisting she not use the backup camera.

Hahaha!!! Thanx for the tips and advice.
Just was curious if anyone ever tried it and the instructor/examiner said anything about it. I mean, you can't just flip a on/off switch. It's just standard on the car. But yet again, was just a thought.
