Rear view camera is not straight
When I use the rear view camera lines to park, I'm always parking crooked, which leads me to believe that the camera is actually not installed straight. Does anyone else have this problem? Also is this something I should complain to the dealership?
I was thinking the same thing. I back in a lot and I am always crooked no matter how many times I adjust myself. I never mentioned it or anything but I might construct a test to figure out if it really is crooked or not. Probably will just draw lines in the street and measure things like that. I'll let you know how that turns out.
I look over the shoulder to park and just use the camera to see how close I am to the object behind me. Though I have tried just using the camera just to see what it is like.
The camera has been so accurate that many of my passengers have noticed and made comments they wish they had mine. So maybe yours is crooked? Since it's on the trunk lid it's possible it may have gotten loose from constant use of the trunk? Guessing here, really don't know.

I have been using the horizontal line to line up with a curb at the end of my car as I back up into a space to park. If I let the line stick (angle) up more on the right side, then I park straight.
