problems smoking your taillights?
I got the kit from Aerotect and installed them. My only concern is the area with the acute angles on the taillights. I have areas that don't look quite 100% either because som area is overlapped or the two lines don't quite meet exactly how I want them. Anyone have problems with this? For the most part you can't see the problem areas unless you inspect it up close. I started to wonder if I should have paid someone to install it.

you guys aren't the only ones...i have the same problem. i think it was because i did mine when it was too cold, so i couldn't really stretch it out. i looks good far, but up close it looks like crap. i have anohter set from the buy 1 get one free promo, so i'll install again when its warmer.

Cool, I love this forum when I want advice on my car. I put them on and thought, "this might not look 100% but it is still better than dropping 200 bucks to have someone else do it." Yes, that is what he quoted me to have it installed. Good Grief Charlie Brown. It looks better than I thought it would with the Silver Lexus that I have. I think the black cars look the best with this option on it.

if u do spray tint on the tail light...how hard is it to return back to original OEM?? or is it permanent?? any pics of you guy's aerotect's film installed (close-up on how bad it is)

i used aerotect product.
i recommend you not to paint.
i think you can reverse back, but not perfect, might damage the part...
if my overlay fades out or something goes wrong, i would buy another overlay and kinda practise myself to be good at it.

i used to own obsidian(black color) IS250 yr 07 and had the smoke overlay, and it was very nice, my neighbors like my car so much, and now i got Starfire Pearl, and now the smoke overlay makes mine dark read and it looks cool too!
