Default Liquid Graphite G-Spyders?

I've read their available and even seen one here on a forum member's car.
Yet,I just called Sewell and the rep didn't know of any liquid graphite g-spyders.
Though she is doing a further check to see if they're available.

Yes.....standard finish is like the liquid graphite finish although they aren't stated as such.

Thanks for the replies,guys.
You're most likely right but Sewell site says they're bright silver and don't know of any LG or any shade change.
I'd hate to get the silver somehow and have to send them back at my cost.
You have them so I know they're out there regardless of what the Sewell rep says.
She did say she would look into the LG vs the bright silver.I going to wait awhile and see what develops.

I see they are LG.
I just called again and got the same rep and told her about the '08s color being different and she just says they're still called bright silver in the book just like the '06 & '07s.
Although they do have a different part# for the '08 wheels.

taylorjste,thanks for the pics.
Now I know exactly how my crystal white will look with them.

Looks like new g-spyders and another set of Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS PP's in the near future before that 15% off dies..

2006-2008 still the same. maybe the "Bright Silver" is just an old name for "Liquid Graphite".

I've never seen the wheel in person so I don't know.

Interesting that the G-Spyders weigh more than the stock 18s.

The OEM 18's weigh: 26lbs front, 27lbs rear
The G Spiders weigh: 27.5 front, 28.5 rear

I wonder if weigh less than a stock 17" wheel.

I don't care how good they look or how cheap they are, I would never get heavier wheels in the same size.

And for the record, the g's are hot.

Actually, although the spiders are a dark graphite color, to me they seem to reflect a different color than the new "liquid graphite" wheels.

Just my observation.

I gotta believe the stock 17"s may be heavier or the same as the Spyders.
What do you think?

Joe,

I have confirmed that we do offer a Liquid Graphite for our IS and GS
models. We do not have the G-Spider in stock, but I can order a set and
take some pictures and send them to you if you like.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you,

Thank you,

Just trying to help the economy.
Just spending some tax return money.
I'll spend on the car and the wife will spend on the house making us both happy.

She'll know about the wheels but not about the second set of Potenza RE960's or any other set of tires I choose.
