That's my friends DC2... Forgot what motor he dropped in there? Recaros, Gram lights, BFG sponsor, ICE, TEIN SS, and a bunch of other stuff. He's put about $25 000 into her.
Old pictures
Don't mind the all stickers he had some sponsors and a friend with a decal machine. Loaded her up for a car show for fun.

Yeah that's what peaked my interest. I heard about the price drop and the interest rates are pretty low.
It's either I go new IS250 RWD or used IS250 AWD/IS350. I want to buy a house soon so trying to keep my car payments as low as possible. If I want new I'm going to have to wait till July because that's when I can get a Starfire Pearl one. I have my heart set on white.
My friend work at a dealership and said they can track down used cars from the US and import it up for me as well. Plan to see him this week. Hopefully I can end up with a used IS350. If not a new is fine with me.
I don't mind the wait. Rolling around in my mom's 1996 Corolla now. But when my Girlfriend lets me I use her 08 Subaru Forester. =)
Trying to convince her to let me drop it and throw on some rims.
Having her car makes me not think about not having mine anymore =(

Smaller engine and no AWD. I don't recall anyone recommending that. Did you just go for price (and color)? I hope you don't mind asking her for a lift when the drifts blow.

Yes Price was a big factor. I'm planing on building a house and starting a family soon. If my moms 96 corolla with crappy all season can survive through winter i'm sure with good winter tires I'll be fine.
Plus my girl friends has a 2008 forester X for the bad days in winter
If all I cared about was power and AWD I would have gotten a STi or legacy spec B instead.
Don't think I didn't listen to any of your advice. I looked fore used but with the finance right now and the deal the dealship made me I couldn't pass it up. And no way am I leasing.

Can't wait to shoot the IS. The lines on the car are sexy!

What are some small mods I can look into? Like red out tails and things like that?

Congrats on your soon-to-be Lexus owning status. You are going to love the interior of these cars. Sounds like a 250 will fit you fine if HP is not a must, plus you'll get better MPGs. As for small mods, changing your lighting to LEDs is a cheap, easy, and looks nice. Oh and by the way, nice Impreza. Some really well done photography.
