Accessing behind the Head Unit w/o removing the Head Unit
Hello guys..
do you guys know if behind the Head Unit(Nav) is accessible w/o removing the Head Unit so that I can plug and unplug harnesses?
I was thinking about removing the glove-box to access it..
has anyone tried this or at least know if it is possible?
thanks in advance!

No other way to access that area....
Tip:
If you do it with two people, the other person can hold the unit with out unplugging and removing everything.. you just pull it all out half way or as much as the harness alows..

I owned IS250(non-nav) before and I removed so many times to do stuff..
aftermarket GPS, radar detector... and etc...
and I used to have cracking noise that I am pretty sure that came out of radio mount or plastics..
and I am removing the Head Unit today(new vehicle w/Nav) and I am going
to be installing radar detector, SL2Vi, and extended power outlet wires all at the same time
so that if I need to install some additional devices later... I dont need to remove anything but a single cover on the side of the dashboard, so that
I can get power for other devices easily.
