All of a sudden my TPMS light came on with the text "Check System".
I tried holding the button in for 3 seconds and resetting it, but it didn't work. My wheels have the sensors and the tires are at the correct pressure so I am not sure why this damn thing won't go off.
Most of the threads in the search were from people who didn't have sensors in their tires or were able to find resolution by using the button in the car.
How long did you have your aftermarket rims on? You have to wait a few minutes for the ecu to recognize the sensors. If its still on, you need to get the codes to diagnose the problem. Here are a few that might cause it.

2. Its real cold in your area.
3. The battery died... I know it suppose to last at least 5 years but you'll never know.
4. Installed a different sensor from another car.
