Default Snow pictures

So we got a little bit of snow here in the last 24 hrs. Here are a couple of pictures of me trying to get into the garage after getting home in the morning.
I only got stuck twice

If you have pictures of your IS having fun in the snow post them here.

I cant even begin to picture my car in that kinda snow. We got a fair chunk here too, but about 1 cm of snow makes my car go weeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Oh boy. Tell me you didn't wipe the snow off your car with your jacket sleeve. That will leave some nice marks in the clearcoat, specially if the snow is icy.

Cool pics though!

The pictures were taken with a cell phone camera so the colors might be off.

I have Dunlop SP Winter M3 tires.

I wiped off some of the snow using a brush but not all the way down to the paint. The rest blew off when I was driving.

I had no problems at all driving home on the unplowed streets. I was even passing other cars. The VDIM system works pretty well.... it won't even let you kick the back out when there is an inch of snow on the pavement. This is my first RWD vehicle (besides my wifes 4WD 4Runner) and I'm very happy with it's winter driving performance.

Hey Paul, nice pics - I didn't take the IS out today. I got home last night uneventfully using the Dunlop 3Ds (awesome btw). Today I took my wife's car - RX400h with Pirelli Scorpion ice/snow tires. My IS with winter tires are great, but an SUV with 4 brand new snow tires - you just can't beat it. Plus, my wife's car has those rubber mats that soak up a gallon of water while mine's the regular carpeted ones.

BTW, I did see a stuck IS on Lake Cook road last night - he was BLUE. I'm not sure if it was an IS250 or IS350 rear wheel drive - defnitely NO awd because he was STUCK on Lake Cook Road and I only saw his rears spin. He eventually got out - I did suggest to him that he call roadside assistance or something - he said, "I didn't pay for roadside assistance" I told him all new Lexus vehicles come with roadside assistance for free. Odd thing was he asked me if I could give him a bump - I refused to damage his bumper and mine. He shoulda gotten winter tires.
