Just buy a biometric deadbolt for your house. I was thinking about getting one of these: http://www.fingerprintdoorlocks.biz/

I think they sell them at Home Depot.

I've really lazy now, got the new LS key and I don't even carry keys on me anymore, go in and out of my garage, open and close it with the homelink.

I've got one of those on my front door. My father owns a company that manufactures and sells them.

I'm old fashioned......I put the house key on the fob ring. When I leave the house I lock the door (in the garage), put the fob in my pocket, and close the overhead garage door with the push button on the mirror. I fail to see why this would be so onerous. Are we that lazy we can't use an old fashioned key to get into the house once we are into the garage.
