When I was shopping for cars in 2006, i looked at the G35 and was underwhelmed by the quality of the interior personally. Lots of hard plastic and the leather was meh. Not to mention, gas mileage was rater 25 highway/18 city. After looking at lots of cars in the 20-35k range (i know, big range, wasn't sure what i wanted), the IS' interior was the only one that made me go "wow, this is nice" out of maybe 10+ cars i test drove on a saturday.
It's all about what you need and what your personal preferences are. Mine were great interior, good mpg and a few other smaller things i wanted. I'm single, so backseat space is not a problem.
Congrats on yoru g35! I hope it treats you well. I had a '98 altima and got rid of it when it had 172k on it! So i'm a fan of nissan

The 2006 G35 is a completely different car than the newer G35. The previous car had a crap interior, the 2007+ car is a completely different automobile. Not fair to compare a 2006 G with the IS.

I do weekends valet work and i have sat in every car leather there is under the sun, you got soft types, hard types and everything inbetween, but when it comes to the best of the best in leathery, i feel non can pass what used in Lexus cars. For luxury motoring in leather seats, it's the best in it's class for sure.

man. the thing has no room...it lacks power...leather felt sorta cheap...i wanted a black on black is250 rwd and it didnt impress me at all..it was dead..but i gotta give it the handling..that thing hugs corners at like 60+mph..but got a g35 sedan journey instead. not trolling but i was over hyped by the reviews and i was really disappointed leaving the dealership
I know you guys love your car and I'm not here to bash or troll. Trust me. I just wonder if any of you guys feel the same. Still is a hot and sexy car. Just thought it would offer more for the price tag.
