When I was shopping for cars in 2006, i looked at the G35 and was underwhelmed by the quality of the interior personally. Lots of hard plastic and the leather was meh. Not to mention, gas mileage was rater 25 highway/18 city. After looking at lots of cars in the 20-35k range (i know, big range, wasn't sure what i wanted), the IS' interior was the only one that made me go "wow, this is nice" out of maybe 10+ cars i test drove on a saturday.

It's all about what you need and what your personal preferences are. Mine were great interior, good mpg and a few other smaller things i wanted. I'm single, so backseat space is not a problem.

Congrats on yoru g35! I hope it treats you well. I had a '98 altima and got rid of it when it had 172k on it! So i'm a fan of nissan

Love my IS 350... The only negative, if you can call it a negative, is it seems everyone wants to race it... Fast car!

The 2006 G35 is a completely different car than the newer G35. The previous car had a crap interior, the 2007+ car is a completely different automobile. Not fair to compare a 2006 G with the IS.

This is VERY nice leather for any car, and probably the best in its class.
I do weekends valet work and i have sat in every car leather there is under the sun, you got soft types, hard types and everything inbetween, but when it comes to the best of the best in leathery, i feel non can pass what used in Lexus cars. For luxury motoring in leather seats, it's the best in it's class for sure.

I know you guys love your car and I'm not here to bash or troll. Trust me. I just wonder if any of you guys feel the same. Still is a hot and sexy car. Just thought it would offer more for the price tag.
Yes, the 250 is slow when compared to the G35, but it's the 350 that competes with the G35, not the 250. I have yet to see a magazine compare a 250 to a G35, so why you're doing it here is a bit odd, and does seem like trolling... The back seat is definitely cramped, the front is not so bad. Legroom is identical to the G35 Sedan in fact, but head and shoulder room is an inch or two less... My biggest gripe though is the comment about the leather, it is in a class the G35 can't even touch. Maybe cheap leather is all you're accustomed to and don't recognize the good stuff when you see/touch it? Not trying to be condescending or anything, but that's the only thing I can think of to explain that rather ignorant comment.

True.
My neighbor has a loaded '07 G35 that listed for $39.5K he leases.Nice car with a nice interior and quick.I just think the car's style is bland and not that luxurious looking.I also feel Toyota makes a better product than Nissan.

Agree 100%. G35 style is blah, and overall a Toyota trumps Nissan in almost all ways.
