I was just trying to get an idea your car mileage before you started to add mods (intake, exhaust, springs,etc).

 

HAHA some ppl start the day they left the stealership. I got mine in may, currently 42xx mi. and look at my sig

 

some people buy the Mods before the car comes in!

Probably never for me... None of the mods I've seen so far serve any practical purpose for me, except maybe tinting, but I have horrible night vision, so that's probably out too.

 

For me it would depend on how long you plan on keepin the car.
I hope to keep mine forever... , or at least 10 years.

So I will really consider 19'' wheels, Eibach, front lip after about 60000 miles or a couple more years. I have had my IS for 2 years now.

But to be honest, it is always a product of how much you have to spend. If I had it like that, then BBS-RSGT, front lip, and even some Black wheels on the side when I want that look.

 

Yea i got mine later on, because i was just so happy with the car stock then you get a little bored around 5,000 but yea i started around there. 5k

 

15 miles...tint was done at the dealer, wheels and springs came around 500 miles and the mods just kept coming.

 

First mod: tint. Approx 35 miles...

 

One thing thou, yes when you look at some of our cars they look like marquise-cut diamonds while a stock car look like a plain round-cut diamond. *im comparing our cars with diamonds now *

BUT... word of caution, ever hear the saying 'stock is best'? One reason ppl say that is because... THERE IS NO END once you start down the mod path, trust me I hear the sobs from my wallet every nite i goto sleep

My first major mod (other than tint) came at around 4500 miles when I bought my Lexus HKS Exhaust

 

^ Plan on doing the same. I will order them this weekend. Question to, Does Aerotect sell the blackout for the rear corner reflectors?

When I do the redouts I will take The AWD symbol off and do the corners as well.

But first I am taking the car from the dealership right to the tint place so he can install the tint and system before I get her home.
